Classequip Our New Initiative Using Education to Transform Lives and Communities.

Nigeria, with her status as the highest population of black people in the world, and one of the highest populations of children of primary and secondary school age in the world holds immense potential. However, the education system is struggling to keep up with the demand of this youthful populace. According to UNESCO, Nigeria has one of the highest numbers of out-of-school children in the world.  Even for those who are in school, the conditions are often far from ideal.  In many public schools across Nigeria, for example, students face significant challenges that hinder their learning experience. Overcrowded classrooms, insufficient resources, and outdated facilities are just a few of the obstacles that these children confront daily.

Enter Classequip, our new initiative designed make a meaningful impact where it is needed most. Classequip is motivated by the belief in the power of education to transform lives and communities. That is why we want to use it to create a direct link between generous, inspired donors and specific classroom projects that need their support.

How It Will Work:

  1. Browse Projects: Our online platform will feature a variety of classroom projects from schools across Nigeria. Each project is carefully vetted and comes with detailed descriptions, budgets, and expected outcomes. Whether it’s renovating a classroom, providing essential supplies, or funding a computer lab, there’s a project that matches what you are passionate about and what you are interested in.

  2. Make a Donation: Once you find a project that resonates with you, making a donation is easy. Our secure payment system ensures that your contribution goes directly to the project of your choice. You can donate as much or as little as you like – every bit helps!

  3. See the Impact: We believe in complete transparency. After you donate, you’ll receive regular updates on the progress of the project, including photos, reports, and messages from the students and teachers you’re helping. You’ll see firsthand the difference your support is making.

At Classequip, we are committed to creating brighter futures for Nigerian students by improving their learning environments. But we cannot do it alone, we need your help and support.  With your help, we can continue to support vital classroom projects and ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed. visit our website today and be a part of this transformative journey.

The Coded Value of Social Enterprises: Impact That Sustains

At Edgetechies, we believe every enterprise carries two types of value: the visible kind—revenues, customers, partnerships—and the coded kind, which sits beneath the surface. For social enterprises, that coded value lies in their ability to deliver impact while also building paths to profitability and sustainability . For years, many viewed social enterprises as charity-adjacent, destined to rely on grants or goodwill. But the truth is different. When structured right, social enterprises can be among the most resilient and scalable business models of our time. Their coded value is in how they turn human problems into market opportunities —balancing purpose with business sense. Purpose as a Growth Engine The most successful social enterprises don’t chase impact at the expense of profit. They harness purpose as a growth engine. Take SkillHer , for example. What began as a safe space for women to learn and upskill has grown into a thriving community unlocking new opportunities across N...
