At Edgetechies, we remain committed to empowering young people with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. This year, we were especially privileged to provide technical support to SkillHer; one of Nigeria's leading educational social enterprises  in the implementation of her  SkillHer SAW (Skill Acquisition Workshop) program. Through this collaboration, we helped enhance the learning outcomes of over 100 participants, supporting them not only in acquiring digital and entrepreneurial skills but also in developing the confidence to apply these skills in real-life contexts. Every year on the 8th of March, the whole world celebrates International Women's Day (IWD). It is always a reminder of not just how women worldwide have continued to break the glass ceiling and achieve great things, but also a reminder of how much farther behind women still are, not just in politics and business but also in terms of social justice, body autonomy, and human rights. It is therefore apt that the theme for this year’s celebration is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.”.
